The restoration of the Granwood flooring at Ark Little Ridge Primary Academy was a meticulous process carried out over a span of five days. With over 200 square metres of flooring to be sanded back to a bare finish before sealing, precision and expertise were paramount. Given the fine and potentially hazardous nature of the dust produced during sanding, we employed specialised dust extraction systems to ensure a safe and healthy environment. Once the sanding was completed, thorough vacuuming and preparation paved the way for the application of the sealing finish. It's worth noting that the vapours emitted by the sealer were potent, necessitating the use of specialised vapor masks and advanced air extraction systems to safeguard the well-being of our team and maintain a safe workspace. At every step of the restoration process, our commitment to quality and safety remained unwavering, ensuring the Granwood flooring at Ark Little Ridge Primary Academy regained its former glory while prioritising the health and safety of all involved.
